EMILY POTTS, NCARB, AIA
Artist turned Teacher turned Architect, my goal is to use my skills to serve our community and the environment we live in. I believe the best solutions are achieved by engaging all stakeholders in the process of design, and I enjoy collaborating with clients and colleagues throughout the process. My strengths are in team building, organization, and practical approaches to problem solving combined with a detail-oriented eye for color and a flair for combining old and new. I am passionate about carving out child-centered spaces in our environment and strive to consider both active and passive, typical and non-traditional users in all of the projects I work on. I am licensed ONLY in the State of Texas to practice Architecture. (Reg #25172), NCARB certified, AIA member.
I live with my wonderfully generous husband, two plump kitties, and our wild little preemie bundle of toddler joy. She is the queen of the castle and the apple of my eye. We just moved to Sacramento, CA to be closer to the grandparents. I am excited to be getting back to my roots after a 20 year hiatus in far away lands.
