Cele Middle School, Pflugerville, TX

Work performed while employed with SHW Group, Austin, TX.  This three story, 163,500 SF project has the capacity for 1200 students and was completed in 2013.  It features a rooftop learning garden with wicking beds, high efficiency systems, unique flex spaces and optimized daylighting.  Emphasis on a compact design and flexible learning corridors combined with ample daylight. In addition to BIM manager and Construction Documents coordinator, my role included material life cycle cost analysis and multiple interior design options presented to the district as part of the work.  The building has received many accolades including a 2016 Livable Buildings Award from the Center for the Built Environment (CBE) at the University of California, Berkeley.
